“Below the Fold” is a bi-monthly publication crafted collaboratively by John Michael Zayac and Casey Patrick Murphy.
Our aim is to share our passions, connect people and develop alignments that bring focus to ideas and projects that will enhance the community we love.
He wanted to re-start the blog, and ultimately determined that it would be better if he had a partner. He’s found that partner – Casey Patrick Murphy. Casey is a great complement to John – younger, from exurbia and with different interests.
Casey has always loved to write. However, his passion for writing has perpetually found itself at war with his ability to actually make writing a habit. He has struggled to make writing a priority or establish a regular routine.
He’s confident that our new joint endeavor – "Below the Fold" – will remedy his lack of focus and provide a welcomed sense of accountability. Moreover, he’s thrilled to partner with John and build off the strong foundation he previously established with his "Z-Notes" publications.
Each of us will embrace three sets of interest. In John’s case, he will explore three normally disparate themes – Arts & Culture; Local Government; and, Planning, Design & Construction.
In turn, Casey will explore three different passions – Technology & Design; Sports & Entertainment; and, Family & Lifestyle.
